‘The Times’ to return on ifilm English antenna

ifilm’s series, ‘The Times’, has been scheduled to go on air from February 19, 2020.

The series, produced by Esmaeel Afifeh and directed by Hassan Fathi, tells the story of Behzad who has lost his dad as a young child and his uncle has stepped in and provided everything for him and his family.

The uncle has played the role of a father to him. Now Behzad is all grown up and runs his own company.

When he starts looking into the circumstances of his father’s death twenty years ago, new information comes to light which threatens to tear the family apart.

Among the cast list are Shahram Qaedi, Houman Barqnavard, Mehraneh Mahin-Torabi, Parinaz Izadyar, Roya Mirelmi, Hossein Mahjoub, Hamid Goudarzi, Ida Faqihzadeh, Fariba Motekhasses, Omid Rouhani, Hossein Mehri, Vida Javan, and Matin Sotoudeh.

‘The Times’, produced in 2012, is to replace the series ‘The Friendly Ghost’ to be broadcast daily at 23:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 (all GMT time). ‘The Times’ is comprised of 49 episodes.
